A quick bio:
Born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois; Emerson Elementary, Wheaton Warrenville Junior High, Wheaton North High class of 1991. First took piano and guitar but scrapped it all at 10 to play drums and I've been in love ever since. Was in a few high school bands, but did not have my first real musical experience until the Rileys, both as a fan and as a member. The Riley's started as a Wheaton College garage band and later became my good friends Pete Beyer, Thad Salter, Kurt Lightner, Jim Cooper and Rick Franklin who were musical mentors and comrades. For a moment step back a couple of years to the other stream in my life sound recording/manipulation technology. I got started recording with hundreds of radio shack audio adapters and a tape deck, then finally graduated to 4-track. After that computers to over the world and digital audio found its way into my life. Dreamed of writing the most harmonically and compositionally complex music piece. I think I got there, but as you probably guessed, it didn't have the same glory as I imagined. I guess I'm still reeling from my own post-modern crisis.
Now my musical existence is a combination of digital mousing and the dream to write the songs that please the ear and the mind... Oh, and I'm also a bass player.
